On the afternoon of September 24, the fourth-floor auditorium at Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. was filled with warmth and enthusiasm as the One-Year Anniversary Celebration for Junior College Graduates was held as scheduled. Gathering together, we reflected on the participants’ professional growth over the past year, listened to the voices of young employees, and conveyed the company’s care and support for the younger generation, empowering them to move forward with confidence on their career journeys.
Sharing Experiences and Celebrating Excellence
The event opened with speeches by three outstanding junior college graduate representatives. Employees from the Biopharmaceutical Workshop, Quality Control Center, and Equipment Management Department took turns sharing their personal experiences and growth over the past year. When they first joined the company, unfamiliar procedures and stringent GMP requirements brought moments of uncertainty. With hands-on guidance from experienced mentors, they honed their practical skills, steadily built their confidence, and gradually became capable of working independently. Some have continued to grow in their respective roles, while others have excelled in skills competitions and earned recognition. Through their dedication to everyday work on the front line, they have demonstrated how young employees can overcome initial challenges, mature professionally, and make steady progress.

Every Question Answered
During the Q&A session, we were joined by Ms. Gan, Director of Administration and Human Resources; Mr. Ouyang, Manager of the Equipment Management Department; Mr. Xiao, Manager of the Biopharmaceutical Production Technology Department; Ms. Chen, Manager of the Human Resources Department; and Ms. Zhang, Technical Team Leader of the Chemical Testing Group at the Quality Control Center. Together, they addressed the real workplace concerns of junior college graduates. Topics included how to gain experience through repetitive tasks, how to balance further education with skills development, stress management, communication, career development and promotion criteria. Through candid conversations grounded in practical workplace experience, the leaders offered thoughtful guidance and encouragement. They emphasized that repetitive hands-on work is not merely a cycle of routine tasks, but an opportunity to deepen understanding of technical principles and build a solid foundation of professional skills. They also encouraged employees not to be constrained by academic qualifications, reminding them that junior college graduates can also demonstrate their abilities and excel in skills competitions.
Support at Every Step of the Journey
A remarkable start may be rare, but long-term career success depends on reliability and dedication. Promotion is not determined by seniority alone; strong professional skills are the best passport to advancement. When anxiety arises, there is no need to struggle in silence. Open and proactive communication can help resolve doubts, ease concerns and provide clarity for the road ahead.
Every Effort Deserves Recognition
The event also recognized outstanding interns who had demonstrated exceptional performance in their roles. Certificates and prizes were presented in appreciation of their dedication and hard work, celebrating their achievements and inspiring their peers to learn from their example.
Building Workplace Reliability
The event continued with a training session focused on developing workplace reliability and essential professional skills. Covering three key areas—effective reporting, workplace etiquette, and proactive thinking—the session explored the principles of clear and structured reporting, the nuances of professional communication, and the importance of thinking one step ahead. Participants were encouraged to move beyond passive task execution and develop into thoughtful, proactive professionals who communicate effectively and take initiative in their work.
Every Experience Has Its Place
As the event drew to a close, participants enjoyed a relaxed tea break and took part in an Energy Pie Chart reflection exercise. The pie chart was divided into eight segments, representing two types of energy: positive energy that recharges and negative energy that drains. Looking back on the past year, participants recorded small achievements and meaningful moments in both work and life as sources of positive energy, while identifying workplace challenges, emotional stress and everyday worries as sources of negative energy. After scoring each segment and calculating their total, they determined their individual net energy levels, gaining a clearer picture of their overall well-being. Through coloring, calculating and sharing their reflections, participants celebrated their growth while acknowledging their stress. By empathizing with and supporting one another, they learned to embrace the ups and downs of work and life, turning every experience into renewed strength and confidence for the journey ahead.
A Bright Future Lies Ahead
One year of dedication brings one year of growth. The company remains committed to supporting the development of junior college graduates, empowering them to continue growing throughout their professional journeys. May every young employee stay grounded in their role, bravely challenge preconceived labels, and turn everyday experiences into wings for growth, embracing the boundless opportunities ahead on the company’s platform.
