Finding reliable childcare during the summer holidays has long been a concern for many employees. Who will look after the children while school is out? Who will help them with their homework? The Zhuhai United Laboratories Co., Ltd. is taking action! On August 3, its trade union officially launched a summer childcare program, welcoming the first group of 36 employees’ children aged 2 to 8. The program features specialized childcare and kindergarten-to-primary-school transition classes, tailored to the developmental needs of children at different ages.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Zhang, Chairwoman of the Trade Union, warmly interacted with the children. She said, “Launching this childcare program has been a priority for our trade union for some time. By helping employees address the challenges of summer childcare, we want to show that their needs truly matter to us. Going forward, we will continue to listen to employees and bring more thoughtful, caring services to them and their families.”

The program has received strong support from Jinwan Hongya Kindergarten, which provides the children with a safe and comfortable environment as well as professional care. Director Kong of the kindergarten took the stage to offer the children her best wishes and encouragement. From taking an entrance pledge to tackling fun growth-themed obstacle challenges, the children were guided and supported by their teachers, who also presented them with thoughtful welcome gifts. Amid the warm and festive atmosphere, the children embarked on their summer childcare journey.

Although the opening ceremony has come to an end, the trade union’s care and support for employees and their families are just beginning. This summer, happy children and reassured parents are the best testament to the trade union’s commitment to serving employees.
